Welcome to la closerie de la Fuye,
Let me accompany you for a virtual visit with pictures: the house, the park and the animals. I’ll be glad to guide again and with details you during your stay.
One thing, however, that I do care about. We are not a hotel. We receive you in our home, in our family, a bit like we would for friends. So come with this in mind, come to enjoy the place and treat yourself.

The living room
Jeux de société
La closerie de la Fuye has been a family home for over 250 years, so time has left its mark. The passing of generations marked furniture and everyday objects. A kind of old-fashioned luxury. It’s not a museum, but a stack of little souvenirs.
We sometimes organize mini concerts or conferences, many around the Esperanto world or our local network of artists.
The library
There is no television in the bedrooms, there is one in the library. We have even taken it outside to follow an event. ;)
There is table football, old game consoles and board games.
The dining room
How can we talk about the dining room without mentioning the breakfast? It’s such an important time, there’s a special breakfast page.
Les chambres
We have 5 guest rooms, but usually we only rent 4 unless specifically requested. Upstairs, the two bedrooms form a family suite. For more details, visit the rooms pages.
Ivan Illich suite (Ada Lovelace + Ernest Shackleton)
The terrace
The terrace faces south, towards the park.
The barn
We have a charming barn from the 15th or 16th century in which the association les Amis de la Fuye organizes exhibitions, concerts and events.
Nature at la closerie de la Fuye
There are lots of things to do or see in the surrounding area. Often you come for the castles of the Loire such as Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Amboise, Chenonceau, etc., to quote only the most famous or closest. You can also just enjoy our park and relax.
The park
The woods
Our woods are wild: not necessarily easy. Also, I have arranged small winding paths to walk there. Maybe our dog, Okari, will accompany you.
There are chickens ...

Animals
Toto and the sheeps ...
